Penwortham Out of School Care (POSC)

With an Outstanding outcome from OFSTED and managed by Childcare & Business Consultancy Services, POSC provides a service before and after school that caters for all children attending Penwortham Primary School.

Breakfast Club

Our breakfast club operates in the Dining Hall from 7.30am each weekday morning. Children are given a healthy, nutritious breakfast. Hot foods are served until 8:15am, other foods until 8:30am. There are a variety of activities available each day to entertain the children before the start of the School day.

Children in Nursery, Reception and Years 1 are escorted to their classes. Other children are taken their entry points in the playground or school.

THE COST FOR THIS SERVICE IS £47 PER WEEK (1 DAY FREE), OR £11.75 PER SESSION

After School Club

Penwortham After School Club is more than just childcare. It’s been designed to stimulate learning while ensuring your child gets their recommended 60 minutes of physical activity a day, all delivered by qualified, friendly and professional staff.

The After School Club Operates in the Dining Hall after School Monday to Friday from the end of the School day until 6.00pm.

Nursery, Reception, Years 1, 2 and 3 are collected from their classrooms and teachers in the playground, all other years make their way to the after school club.

There are a wide range of activities both inside and outside which are age appropriate, target individual needs, your child’s development and geared to be fun for all the children. A small area can be provided where children can do their homework, although we are not able to provide specific supervision for homework.

During the session, at approximately 4:15, a healthy and nutritious meal is provided (menu attached), which can cater for specific dietary needs. We believe that meal times are also a social occasion and work hard to ensure that tea time is a relaxed and friendly part of the session.

THE COST FOR THIS SERVICE IS £83 PER WEEK (1 DAY FREE), OR £20.75 PER SESSION

Fees

These are payable in advance, either weekly, monthly, termly or half termly. There are several ways that fees can be paid: by debit card at the Centre, Using Childcare Vouchers, Direct debit/Standing order or faster payment direct to our bank. Please ask for further information about these options

NB: There is a non-refundable registration fee of £35.00/child required before your children starts.
